2007 Shelby GT-H Convertible. It is car #264 of only 500. You could not go to your 
local Ford dealership to order this car. These were not sold to the public. It was built by Carroll Shelby exclusively for the Hertz Corporation. Each car has a Shelby Serial # just like the classic Shelby of the 60’s. This is Shelby Serial # CSM 07H264 With
only 500 convertibles produced and being built by the legendary Carroll
Shelby it’s not hard to determine the appreciating value in the years
to come. The 2007 Shelby GT-H is
the very first convertible in the history of the infamous Shelby/Hertz
Rent a Racer program. Just look at the first generation Shelby’s most
of us could not afford to buy one today. This second generation Shelby is in everyway better than the first. Its
faster, handles better, has all the modern safety features like front
and side airbags, traction control, and 4 wheel anti-lock disc brakes,
and it gets almost twice the gas mileage. This car is in overall excellent condition with only 7,000 miles.
Each
car is Ebony black with Gold LeMans dual racing stripes, Shelby GT-H
rocker stripes and is fitted with a custom Shelby Performance hood with
pins, and a brushed aluminum grille with running horse emblem (instead
of the Cobra the SVT version has.) A unique front fascia with
integrated lower grille, and a set of body side scoops – very
reminiscent of a classic Shelby Mustang gives this version a distinct
look. The 4 wheel disc brakes can be seen through the GT-H’s 18-inch
black aluminum wheels wearing BF Goodrich G-Force P235/50ZR18
performance rubber.
In
typical Shelby fashion, the motors are not stock Ford GT. Ford Racing
Performance Group is supplying its popular Power Pack (FR1) to add an
additional 25-horsepower bump to the 300-horse Mustang GT 4.6L V-8 to
325 horsepower and an increase of 10 lb.-ft. of torque. The package
includes Ford Racing’s 90mm Cold Air kit, the Muffler Kit, a new X-pipe
similar to the one used on the new SVT version, a performance

cars come with five-speed automatic transmissions and a permanently
engaged traction lock control, dark charcoal leather, power driver
seat, 8,000 rpm tach, 140 mph speedometer, tilt steering,
tinted glass, fog lamps, power door locks, power windows, dual power
mirrors, power top with black boot, power trunk, driver, passenger and
side air bags, air conditioning and a Premier sound system – AM/FM
w/multi-disk CD changer (SIRIUS ready), sport steering wheel and a roll
bar. The Shelby
version comes with Ford's Racing Handling Pack (FR3) installed,
including special-tuned dampers inspired from the FR500C, lowering
springs, sway bars and a strut tower brace – plus a Ford Racing 3.55:1
